Look, we've spent years figuring out what actually makes a hotel stay memorable. It's not just about having stuff - it's about having the RIGHT stuff. Every amenity here's been chosen because we know you'll appreciate it. No fluff, just the things that matter.
Each room tells its own story. We've got 47 rooms total, and honestly, no two feel exactly the same. The craftsmen who built this place back in 1892 didn't believe in cookie-cutter design, and neither do we.
You'll find hand-forged iron fixtures (yeah, some original pieces are still here), custom woodwork that'd make a carpenter weep, and bedding that's... well, let's just say checkout time becomes really inconvenient.
We've hosted everything from board meetings to weddings (sometimes the latter feels like the former, but that's another story). Our event spaces keep the historic charm but pack modern tech.
The Grand Forge Hall seats 200 and has acoustics that'll surprise you - turns out those 19th-century architects knew their stuff. Smaller breakout rooms work great when you need more intimate settings.
The Anvil Room isn't your typical hotel restaurant. Chef Marcus trained in Lyon but fell in love with Pacific Northwest ingredients, and it shows. Breakfast through dinner, the menu changes with what's fresh.
Saturday brunch? Book ahead. Locals figured out we're here, and tables go fast. The wild salmon's sourced from a fishery two hours north, and those sourdough loaves get baked daily in our original brick oven.
The Heritage Spa occupies what used to be the building's original workshop. Those exposed beams overhead? They're the real deal. We've turned this space into something special - five treatment rooms, a sauna that fits eight comfortably, and a relaxation lounge you won't wanna leave.
Our therapists know their stuff. Hot stone massage after a long flight? Swedish technique for tension? Deep tissue when you've overdone it? They've got you covered. Products are locally made too - BC honey and lavender everywhere.
Our concierge team's been around the block. Need theatre tickets? Restaurant recommendations that aren't tourist traps? Transportation sorted out? They'll handle it.
Sarah and Tom have been with us for 12 years combined, and they know Vancouver like their own pockets. They're also surprisingly good at finding last-minute reservations at places that are supposedly "fully booked."
Sometimes you've gotta work. We get it. The business center's open around the clock with workstations, printers, and meeting pods when you need privacy for calls.
Coffee's complimentary (the good stuff, not hotel lobby sludge), and there's enough outlets that you won't be fighting for charging space. Fast printers, scanners, and a color copier that actually works first try.
